Jei Park 1988, Born in Seoul, South Korea.
Currently based in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Jei Park studied fine art from the recognized art schools in South Korea, the U.S., and the U.K from 2001-2011. After that, she took some years off from the mainstream of art, living in the Korean countryside. She published a book about her life around the kitchen, emphasizing happiness in simple existence.
She is now living in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and studying painting at the Graduate School of Chiang Mai University, Faculty of Fine Art.
In her art practice she has been focused on the subject of her longing for love. Her current paintings attempt to look at herself from a distance by capturing her ego in two characters who long for love from their different perspectives.
